Mr. John T. "Jack" Resico, Sr. 88, of Rocky Mount, NC died Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at National Healthcare of Anderson, Anderson, SC.
Born on November 3, 1926, in Rocky Mount, NC.He was the manager and majority stockholder of Gus Z. Lancaster Stockyard and owner of the flea market.Mr. Resico was a member of the Edgemont Baptist Church of Rocky Mount, NC.He also was a member of the Queen City Masonic Lodge 602.
Survivors include one daughter: Virginia "Ginger" Johnson and Jere of Hartwell; two grandchildren: James Pratt, Kyle Pratt and Suzanne and one great grandchild: Mikayla Pratt also survive.Mr. Resico was preceded in death by his wife: Irma Lanier Resico and one son: John T. Resico, Jr.
A memorial service will be Saturday, March 21, 2015 at 2:00 pm at the Cornerstone Funeral Home in Nashville, NC with Rev. Keith Griffin officiating.The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 prior to the service.Burial will be in the Pineview Cemetery in Rocky Mount, NC.
