John Anthony Sanders, 57, of Tucker, GA, passed away Tuesday, on April 20, 2021, at his home. He was the son of the late Gary and Sylvia Sanders.

Mr. Sanders graduated from Hart County High School where he was a part of the choir. Born on St. Patrick's Day, he was known for his great sense of humor, kindness toward others, financial accounting skills as well as creative floral design. He had an impeccable style and work ethic and served in leadership roles at the Hartwell Company as well as UPS, Coca-Cola, Dixie Packaging, Dealer Funding, MedPartners and ALS/Resolvion in Atlanta. He obtained an associate degree from Greenville Technical College for purchasing, procurement and contract management. He also earned an associate degree in flora design from the International Correspondence School.

Mr. Sanders is survived by his siblings: Gary Sanders Jr., Hartwell and Amy Sanders Cunningham (husband Jim), Seattle, Wash.

Mr. Sanders will be buried at a graveside service at the Nancy Hart Memorial Park on Tuesday, April 27, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Jason Webb officiating. Everyone will be asked to practice social distancing and wear masks. Because of the current conditions concerning the health and well-being of our community, the family will not be having a formal visitation.
