Mrs. Johnnie Haynie Terrell, age 83, of Martin, died Tuesday, August 9, 2016 at her home.
Born January 9, 1933, in Franklin County, she was the daughter of the late Thomas C. and Beulah (Elliott) Haynie. She was a homemaker and member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church and the Hannah Sunday School Class. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant daughter: Patricia Jane Terrell and brother: Tommy Haynie.
She is survived by her husband: John W. Terrell; son: Steven L. Terrell; daughter and son-in-law: Sheila & Brant Sharp; and grandchildren: Jennifer & Evan Whatley and Clayton Brant Sharp, Jr.
The funeral service will be held 3:00 p.m. Friday, August 12, 2016 at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church with Rev. Josh Harvill, Rev. David Wilson, and Rev. Mike Petty officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers: Brant Sharp, Clayton Sharp, Evan Whatley, Howard Eaton, Wayne Randall, Michael Certain, Kevin Smith and Ronnie Roach.
The family will receive friends at the church Friday from 2:00 p.m. until the funeral time. At other hours the family will be at the home.Flowers are optional or memorial tributes may be made to Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Building Fund, P.O. box 393, Lavonia, GA 30553.
