Mr. Johnny B. Carruth, 54, of Bowersville, passed away Wednesday, May 13, 2020 at the Doctors Hospital in Augusta, GA.

Born on March 7, 1966 in Hartwell GA, he was the son of Sheila Cleveland Carruth and the late William "Billy" Carruth. Mr. Carruth was a maintenance worker for Sanders Farm and a former plumber/electrician for Crittenden Plumbing and Electric. He was a member of Flat Shoals Baptist Church.

Survivors include his mother: Sheila Cleveland Carruth of Bowersville; his daughter: Alesha Carruth of Athens, GA; two brothers: Terry Carruth of Kannapolis, NC and Jimmy Carruth of Bowersville; two sisters: Connie Carruth and Mary Ann Carruth, both of Bowersville; three nieces: Allison Smith, Lindsey Martin, Kristen Crocker; two nephews: Noah Brown and TW Carruth; and three grandchildren. Mr. Carruth was preceded in death by his father; and one brother: Glen Carruth.

Because of the current conditions concerning the health and well-being of our community, the family will not be having a formal visitation.They ask that everyone keep them in their thoughts and prayers in the coming days and weeks.

Johnny wished to be cremated and a memorial service celebrating his life will be held at a later date by the family.
