Mr. Johnny Thurston Pearson, age 70 of 1451 Reed Creek Hwy, Hartwell GA, died Monday, May 5, 2008 at Hartwell Health Care Center
Born on May 7, 1937 in Hart Co. GA, he was the son of the late Jim Pearson and Bertha Allen Pearson.He was retired from Monroe Auto Equipment Co. and of the Baptist Faith.
Survivors include his daughters: Karen Bowers and Marsha McCurley both of Hartwell; two sons: Wesley Pearson of Swannanoa NC and Steven Pearson of Alpharetta; brother: Lloyd Pearson of Social Circle; sister: Gail Pearson of Hartwell; 10 grandchildren and a great-grandchild also survives.He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister: Glenda Mahoney.
A private memorial service will be held by the family at a later date.
