Mrs. Jonnye Andrews Mauldin, 86, of Race Street, Hartwell, passed away Saturday, June 1, 2019 at her home.

Born in Lavonia GA, she was the daughter of the late William Clarence Andrews and Cleo Mouchet Andrews.Mrs. Mauldin was a retired Social Worker and a member of the First Baptist Church of Hartwell. She devoted her life to being the most amazing mother and grandmother, relative, and a friend anyone could ask for. She was well known for her kind spirit and sense of humor.

Survivors include her daughter: Marie Jackson (Edward) of Braselton GA; a daughter-in-law: Kim Mauldin of Hartwell; three grandchildren: Brittiany M. Lathrup of Kirkland WA, Gregory Mauldin of Warner Robbins GA and Will Jackson and his fiancée Hannah Sims of Suwanee GA; a sister: Carolyn Norris of Roswell GA and a sister-in-law: LaNora Andrews of Lavonia.Mrs. Mauldin was preceded in death by her husband: James R. Mauldin; a son: Gregg Mauldin; a grandson: Jacob Mauldin; a sister: Betty Harrell and three brothers: Charles Andrews, Tyler Andrews and Leon "Midge" Andrews.

The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell, where the family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Monday afternoon.

Funeral services will be held Monday, June 3, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell with Rev. Carter Tucker officiating.Burial will be in the Nancy Hart Memorial Park.
