Obituary
Mr. Joseph Sidney Brown, age 84, of 1168 North Fairview Road, Lavonia, died Saturday, December 30, 2006 at his home.
Born March 25, 1922, in Elbert County, he was a son of the late Crandall and Eunice (Allen) Brown. He served in the United States Army as a Paratrooper during World War II. He was of the Baptist faith.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers: Richard "Dick" Brown and Eugene C. Brown.
Graveside services will be held 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 2, 2006 at the Martin City Cemetery with the Rev. Richard Bielski officiating. Friends will be received Monday evening from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
