Obituary
Mr. Joseph R. "Joe" Willis, age 85 of 287 Lakeshore Circle, Hartwell, Ga., died September 23, 2007 at his residence.
Born August 25, 1922 in Fulton County, he was the son of the late Joseph Richard Willis and Sarah Marie Redwine Willis. He was retired from Sears-Roebuck Company where he served as a company architect. He attended Georgia Tech and was a former member of the Hartwell Lions Club. He was of the Baptist faith and was a U.S. Army Veteran, serving in WW II.
He is survived by: wife, Wilma Castleberry Willis of the home and her family, William Rapp of Atlanta, Ga., and Ginger Shelton of Atlanta, Ga. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister.
A memorial service for Mr. Willis will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice.
