Obituary
Mr. Joseph Lewis, age 67, of Canon, died Friday, October 15, 2010 at his home.
Born February 6, 1943 in Hampton County, SC, he was the son of the late Moses Webster Lewis and Nettie Carter Lewis. He was a retired newspaper carrier and was of the Holiness faith.
He is survived by his sons: Joe Lewis of Dayton, OH and Steve Lewis of Tallahassee, FL; sister: Frances Maye of Canon; and three grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers: Howard Lewis and James Lewis.
Graveside services will be held 3:00 pm Monday, October 18, 2010 at Graceland Cemetery in Greenville, SC. Flowers are optional or memorials may be made to help cover funeral expenses.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2:00 – 4:00 pm Sunday afternoon. At other hours the family will be at their respective homes.
