Mr. Joseph Onda, 86, of Martin, passed away Thursday, December 28, 2022 at Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital.

Born on October 6, 1936 in Arka, Hungary he was the son of the late Stephen Onda and Anna Sedenski Onda. Mr. Onda was a self-employed landscaper.

He is survived by son: James Onda of Toccoa; daughter and son-in-law: Irene Brown & Richard of Hartwell; and four grandchildren. Mr. Onda is preceded in death by his parents and wife: Nancy Hudak Onda.

It was Mr. Onda's wishes to be cremated and a private memorial service celebrating his life will be held at a later date by the family.

The Strickland Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Hartwell is in charge of all arrangements.
