Joseph Lee Shumake, 13, of 47 Hall Circle, Hartwell, GA, died Wednesday, September 13, 2006 at Medical College of Georgia, Augusta, GA.
Born September 21, 1992 in Gwinnett County, GA, he is the son of Ted Lee Shumake of Auburn, GA and Tracy Renee Cobb Shumake of Hartwell, GA.He was a 7th grade student at Hart County Middle School.
He is survived by Parents; Brother, Jessie Wayne Shumake of the home, Maternal grandparents, Jessie and Sara Cobb of Elberton, GA.He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, September 15, 2006 at 5:00 p.m. from the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell.Rev. Stacey Lynch and Rev. Johnny Stowe will officiate.
The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell where the family will receive friends Thursday night from 7 to 9:00 p.m.The family is at the home.Memorials may be made to defray medical and funeral costs.
