Mrs. Josephine Vickery (Haley) Anderson, age 88, of Atlanta, died Friday, August 2, 2013 at Fountainview Center of Atlanta.
Born October 13, 1924, in Lavonia, she was the daughter of the late Alton P. and Ruby Nell (Vickery) Haley. She was a Bank Manager with CNS Bank. Mrs. Anderson was a member of Colonial Dames, Dames of the Court of Honor, Daughters of Colonial Wars, Daughters of the American Revolution, Magna Charta Dames and Barons, United Daughters of the Confederacy and United Daughters of 1812 Women's Club. She was of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by her brother: William Haley of Fripp Island, SC and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Charles L. Anderson; and brother: Richard P. Haley
Graveside services will be held 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 6, 2013 at the Lavonia City Cemetery, with Dr. Larry Finger officiating.
