Mrs. Joyce (Shirley) Dilworth, age 78, of Commerce, died Monday, April 18, 2022, at Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital.

Born April 30, 1943, in Clarkesville, she was the daughter of the late George Webster and Mary Elizabeth (Stone) Shirley. She was a restaurant owner and operator in Tallulah Falls. Mrs. Dilworth was a member of Allen's United Methodist Church.

She is survived by sisters: Ruby Harkness, Ora Sue Smith, & Mary Ann Crow; friend: Elton Collins; and several nieces, nephews & cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband: William Douglas "Billy" Dilworth; and brothers: Hubert Carter Shirley & Paul Webster Shirley; & sister: Jonell Holcomb.

Graveside services will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, April 22, 2022, at Allen's United Methodist Church Cemetery in the Red Hill Community.
