Mrs. Joylyn Mary Toy, age 33, of 1986 Burroughs Road – Lavonia, died Thursday, January 4, 2007 at her home.
Born January 5, 1973, in Auburn Indiana, she was a daughter of the late Clifford Howard and Donna Fetters. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Toy was a member of the Menominee Indian Tribe of Wisconsin.
Survivors include her mother: Donna Fetters; husband: Kevin Toy of Lavonia; daughter: Faith Toy of Lavonia; two brothers: Cliff Howard of Lavonia and David Howard of Redford, MI; three sisters: Jerilyn Steffen, Virginia Norris, and Tonya Howard all of Lavonia. She was preceded in death by her father and a brother Christopher Joseph Howard.
Funeral services will be Monday, January 8 at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Strickland Funeral Home of Lavonia with Rev. Dennis Harris officiating. Burial will be in the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home – Lavonia Chapel, where the family will receive friends Sunday night from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. The family will be 1725 Carroll Church Road.
