Mrs. Judy M. Newton Clonts, 73, of Kirkpatrick Lane, Hartwell, formerly of Conyers, GA, passed away Sunday, September 1, 2019 at AnMed Health Medical Center, Anderson SC.

Born on September 6, 1945 in Atlanta, GA, she was the daughter of the late Marvin Newton and Louise Johns Newton.Mrs. Clonts was a retired office clerk for Butler Shoe Corporation.

Survivors include her husband: Mac D. Clonts; two sons: Alan Swink (Debbie) of Hartwell and Michael "Bo" Swink of Conyers, GA; three daughters: Angie Bilik (Chris) of Braselton, GA, Lisa Galloway (Randy) of Blue Ridge, GA, and Teresa Rafalovich-Palmer (George) of San Diego, CA; ten grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren also survive. Mrs. Clonts was preceded in death by her parents and one brother: Steve Newton.

The family will receive friends Thursday afternoon from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell.Other times the family will be at the home.

Funeral services for Mrs. Judy Clonts will be held Thursday, September 5, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell with Mr. Nathan Bullock officiating.Burial will be in the Family Cemetery.
