Julia Joyce Ehrhardt Heaton, age 72, of 111 Lewis Street, passed away on Wednesday, November 1, 2017, at the Rainey Hospice House. Born in Royston, GA on February 5, 1945, she was the daughter of the late Clyde Walter Ehrhardt and the late Emily Yarbrough Beasley. She was the wife of Billy Heaton of the residence. Following high school, Judy attended and graduated from the nursing program at Clemson University. She was a registered nurse in the cardiac care unit at AnMed Health for over 30 years until her retirement.

In addition to her husband, Billy, Mrs. Heaton is survived by two sons, Doug Hulme and his wife, Mary Jo of Anderson and Bo Hulme and his wife, Angie of Iva; two brothers, Matt Beasley and his wife, April of Hartwell, GA, and Bill Beasley also of Hartwell; a sister, Joy Martin and her husband Lyle of Rome, GA; three grandchildren Jennifer Browning and her husband, John, Dustin Owens and his wife, Lucy, and Megan Hayes and her husband, Nick; three great-grandchildren, Jackson Browning, Emmylou Owens and Townes Owens; also surviving is a special niece, Morgan Beasley and special friends, Tim and Melinda Phillips.

The family will be planning for a private memorial to be held at a later time.
