Miss Judy Marie Lee, 62, of Lavonia, passed away Wednesday, October 11, 2023 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville, GA.

Born on May 29, 1961 in Royston, GA, she was the daughter of the late Bennie Frank Lee and Minnie Harris Lee.  Miss Lee was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include her niece: Amanda Veal (Rev. Adam) of Royston, GA; three great-nieces: Kaitlin, Kinsley, and Kassidy Veal; and one brother-in-law: Ricky Bruce. Miss Lee is preceded in death by her parents; three brothers: Thomas, Eddie, and Randy Lee; and two sisters: Barbara Hilley and Deborah Bruce.

The family will receive friends Friday afternoon from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell. Other times the family will be at the home of Amanda & Adam Veal, 1278 Cheek Pulliam Rd, Royston, GA.

Funeral services for Miss Judy Lee will be held Friday, October 13, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell with Rev. Adam Veal officiating.  Burial will be in the Rose Hill Cemetery.

The Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell is in charge of all arrangements.
