Mrs. Judy Darlene McEachin Perkins, 65, of 546 Old Andersonville Road, Hartwell, died Thursday, April 14, 2011 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.
Born on May 19, 1945 in Miami, FL, she was the daughter of the late Marvin M. McEachin and Francis Edna Jones. She was a District Manager for Mild Beauty Supply for 8 years and her favorite hobby was loving her grandbabies.
She is survived by her husband: Sam Perkins of Hartwell; two sons: John "Marvin" Lepore of Hartwell, and Anthony "Tony" Edward Lepore of Hartwell; one daughter: Lisa Darlene Lepore Fike of Chuluota, FL; one brother: Jerry McEachin of Hialeah, FL; one Sister: Trudy Wimberly of Saginaw, TX; seven grandchildren; and 2 great grandchildren. Mrs. Perkins was preceded in death by her parents and one sister: Marvene Morris.
Memorial services will be Sunday, April 17, 2011 at 4:00 p.m. at the Hartwell Chapel of Strickland Funeral Home with Rev. Sam Dulaney officiating.Cremation will follow the service.The family will receive friends from 2:00-4:00 PM Sunday prior to the service.The family is at the home.
