Mrs. Judy Lamar Thompson Slater, age 73, of Toccoa, formally of Hartwell, GA, passed away Friday, June 18, 2021.
Born June 28, 1947 in Hartwell, GA., she was the daughter of the late Luther and Nancy Kay Thompson.
Mrs. Slater attended The Pointe in Toccoa and was a retired bus monitor for Hart County Schools.Judy was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who always had time for her grandchildren.
Family members include her husband, Frank Slater; daughter, Cindy Slater; granddaughters and their spouses, Nicole and Timothy Kimsey and Erica and Jonathan Rowland; and great-grandchildren, Jace Temples, Alivia Kimsey, and Scarlett Kimsey.
She was preceded in death by a daughter Sherry Ridgeway.
Judy's wishes were to be cremated.A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.
