Mrs. Junie Faye White, age 83, of Canon, died Friday, October 23, 2009 at the home of her granddaughter.
Born July 24, 1926, in Banks County, she was the daughter of the late Major & Daisy Nalley. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister: Ruth Mealor and brother: J.D. Nalley.
She is survived by her husband: Roy White; daughters Tammy Gentry of Canon, Sandra Towe of Townville, SC, & Sue Hopkins of Martin; sons: Billy & Roger Singleton of Westminster, SC, James White of Franklin, NC, & Alex White of Martin; sisters: Elsie Kinsey, Dorothy Standridge, & Sue Sertain; brothers: Donald & Harold Nalley; 20 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren, & 1 great-great-grandchild.
Graveside services will be held 3:00 p.m. Sunday, October 25, 2009 at the Lavonia City Cemetery with Mr. Luke Moore officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
