Ms. Karen Lynn Cleveland, 58, of North Forest Avenue, Hartwell, passed away Tuesday, April 7, 2020 at her home.

Born on April 16, 1961 in Hartwell, GA, she was the daughter of the late Harold Louie Cleveland and Janelle Hayes Cleveland. Ms. Cleveland was a former seamstress for Hartwell Mfg. and a member of the Mt. Hebron Baptist Church.

Survivors include her long-time companion: Tony Buffington; two sons: Cody Buffington (Jessica) of Dahlonega, GA, and Bo Buffington of Atlanta, GA; one daughter: Morgan Yeagley of Pickens, SC; three brothers: Tim Cleveland, Chris Cleveland, and Eric Cleveland, all of Hartwell; one sister: Debbie Higginbotham of Hartwell; and three grandchildren: Amelia Buffington, Cana Yeagley, and Bentley Yeagley. Ms. Cleveland is preceded in death by her parents; and one son: Tyler Yeagley.

Because of the current conditions concerning the health and well-being of our community, the family will not be having formal services at this time.They ask that everyone keep them in their thoughts and prayers in the coming days and weeks.
