Mrs. Katherine Elizabeth (Hanners) McNulty, age 35, of Toccoa, died Sunday, March 8, 2009 at Stephens County Hospital.
Born July 10, 1973, she was the daughter of Betty (Biddy) Hanners and the late Vernon Hanners. She was a homemaker and was a member of Fairview Baptist Church.
Mrs. McNulty was preceded in death by her father; and a brother: Mickey Hanners
Survivors include her mother and her special Companion: Betty Hanners of Lavonia & Bill Belland of Westminster, SC; children: T.J. & Brian McNulty of Martin, Nicole McNulty of Toccoa, and Christian Roberts of Toccoa; brother and sister-in-law: Calvin & Renee Hanners of Duluth; sister: Betty McDaniel of Toccoa; sisters and brothers-in-law: Audie & Bill Dorris of Martin, Glenda & Dan Cooper of Blakely, Barbara & Jeremiah Martin of Dawsonville, Sandra & Donald Malbrough of Bethlehem, Tina & Tommy Martin of Ball Ground, and Lucy & Chris Ayers of Hartwell..
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 10, 2009 at the Lavonia Chapel of Strickland Funeral Home with Revs. Tim Bennett and Bruce Moore officiating. Burial will follow in Lavonia City Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to help defray the funeral expenses.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Monday and 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. Tuesday. At other times the family will be at the home of a sister, Audie Dorris 970 Blackhorse Run, Martin.
