Mrs. Katheryn Cornell Sanders, age 82 of 513 Blume Rd, Anderson SC, died Friday, February 29, 2008 at AnMed Health Medical Center, Anderson SC

Born on August 9, 1925 in Hart Co. GA, she was the daughter of the late Robert B. Cornell and Icie Brown Cornell.She was a retired Check Collections Clerk at the Federal Reserve Bank in Atlanta GA; she was a former member of the Madora Garden Club, former member of the Hartwell First United Methodist Church and a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church of Anderson.

Survivors include her husband: Charles L. Sanders of the home; two daughters: Teresa Paschal of Lilburn GA and Barbara Alexander and her husband Robert of Canton GA; two grandchildren: Keren Barr and Kristina Whitley; a great-grandson: Ian Russell Whitley.She was preceded in death by two brothers: Clyde Vickery and Ervin Vickery.

Funeral services will be Sunday, March 2 at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell with Rev. C. J. Lupo officiating.Burial will be in the Nancy Hart Memorial Park.
