Mrs. Kathy Melissa Dorrill Monday, 54. of Hartwell, passed away Thursday, May 28, 2020 at St. Mary's Hospice House surrounded by her family.
Born on September 26, 1965 in Columbus GA, she was the daughter of Dimple Faye Meadows Dorrill of Sylacauga AL.Kathy was a Para-pro for 16 years at North Hart Elementary School, where she worked with Special Ed and Kindergarten.She loved the Lord and read her Bible every day and loved doing yardwork.
Survivors include her husband: Jeffery J. Monday; her daughter: Emily Monday of Hartwell; her granddaughter: Mia Katherine; two sisters: Vickie Fields (Billy) and Sheila Morris both of Childersburg AL; her mother-in-law: Nancy Hovey of Smith's Station AL; her sister-in-law: Rebecca M. Holladay (Jeff) of Smith's Station AL; seven nieces & nephews and 14 great nieces and nephews also survive.
A Celebration of Kathy's life will be held at a later date by her family.
The Strickland Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Hartwell is in charge of all arrangements
