Ms. Kathy Cantrell Stone, 63, of Toccoa, passed away Saturday, April 30, 2022 at her home.

Born on June 21, 1958 in Hartwell, GA, she was the daughter of Billy Ray Cantrell and Amanda Vickery Cantrell. Ms. Stone was formerly employed by Hart County Hospital and was a retired caretaker for the elderly. She was also a member of the Flat Shoals Baptist Church.

Survivors include her parents: Billy Ray & Amanda Cantrell of Demorest, GA, and her brother: Tim Cantrell of Hartwell. Ms. Stone was preceded in death by her sister-in-law: Kim Herring Cantrell and a niece: Morgan Cantrell.

The family will receive friends Thursday afternoon from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell.Other times the family will be at their respective homes.

Funeral services for Ms. Kathy Stone will be held Thursday, May 5, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell with Rev. Keith Reid officiating.Burial will be in the Memorial Garden of Prayer.

Flowers optional, memorials may be made to a charity of one's choice.
