Mr. Keith D. LeCroy, 73, of Hatton Ford Road, Hartwell, died Sunday, October 5, 2014 at Athens Regional Medical Center.
Born on May 11, 1941 in Hartwell, he was the son of the late Yancey LeCroy and Lula Nixon LeCroy.He was a retired deputy for the Hart County Sheriff Department and a member of the Mt. Olivet Baptist Church.Church.He was an ordained deacon.
Survivors include his wife: Sylvia LeCroy; two sons: Mike LeCroy and his wife Lisa of Hartwell and Morris LeCroy of Hartwell; one daughter: Tina LeCroy Atkinson of Hartwell; six grandchildren: Adam and Tom Atkinson, Jonathan and Josh LeCroy, and Chase and Carter LeCroy; one sister: Billy LeCroy of Hartwell. He was preceded in death by two brothers: Jack and Carey LeCroy and six sisters: Betty LeCroy, Quillie Wilson, Frances Howard, Genevieve Cannon, Linda Fowlkes and Jetty Lockaby.
Memorial services will be Thursday, October 9, 2014, 2:00 pm at the Mt .Olivet Baptist Church with Mr. Leslie Boles and Rev. Scott Mize and Rev. Matt Law officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. at the Mt. Olivet Baptist Church prior to the service.
