Mr. Zachary Keith Short, 64, of Hartwell, passed away Thursday, October 16 at his home.

Born on September 27, 1961 in Commerce GA, he was the son of the late George Short and Bobbie Hadden Short.  Mr. Short graduated from the University of Georgia with a BS in Business and was retired from Hart Electric Member Corporation, where he was Manager of Consumer Affairs.

Survivors include his wife: Angela Hill Short of Hartwell; two daughters: Lauren Wood (Jonathan) of Ortonville MI and Leann Roy (Tucker) of Anderson SC; one sister: Kim Jordan of Athens and three grandchildren: Camden Wood, Sara Wood and Andi Jane Roy.

Mr. Short was preceded in death by his parents and a sister: Beverly Norris.

The family will receive friends Sunday, October 26, 2025 from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell.  Other times the family will be at their respective homes.

A memorial service to celebrate the life of Keith Short will be Sunday, October 26, 2025 at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Hartwell First Methodist Church, 200 E. Howell St., Hartwell, GA 30643.
