Obituary
Mr. Kenneth Dale "Ken" Harris, 59, of Apricot Street, Hartwell, passed away Thursday, April 9, 2020 at his home.
Born on October 13, 1960 at Vandenberg Air Force, CA, he was the son of Gene A. Harris and the late Jo Ann Reynolds Harris.Ken attended Hart Co. High School, North Georgia Tech and was a graduate from Truett McConnell College.He was an Eagle Scout, a former electronic technician, and member of the Cornerstone Baptist Church.
Survivors include his father: Gene Harris of Hartwell; a sister: Connie Greer (David) of Hartwell; a niece: Bethany Greer and a nephew: Austin Greer.
Because of the current conditions concerning the health and well-being of our community, the family will not be having a formal visitation.They ask that everyone keep them in their thoughts and prayers in the coming days and weeks.
Ken wished to be cremated and a memorial service to celebrate Ken's life will be held at a later date by the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Celebrate Recovery, c/o Cornerstone Baptist Church, 1543 Anderson Hwy, Hartwell GA 30643.
