Kenneth Lynn Floyd, age 71, of Lavonia died Friday, May 6, 2016 at his home.
Born in Beaufort, SC on April 30, 1945, he was the son of the late Reuben Richard and Margaret Eugenia Floyd. He was a retired electrician and had worked for The Trane Company of Greenville. He was a member of the Army Reserves.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Floyd; daughters and sons-in-law: Jamie and Rick Chambers and Windi and Thomas Cook; brother and sister-in-law: Terry and Lori Floyd; and grandchildren: Austin Chambers, Alex Chambers, Abigail Cook and Maxwell Cook.
A graveside service will be held 3:00 p.m. Sunday, May 8, 2016 at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday from 2:00 p.m. until the service hour. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, 250 Pleasant Grove Road, Lavonia, GA 30553.
