Mr. Kenneth H. "Ken" Hudgens, 75, of 2835 Manor Court, Snellville, GA, died Tuesday, January 10, 2011 at New London Healthcare Center in Snellville, GA.
Born on May 25, 1936 in Hartwell, GA, he was the son of the late Walter A. Hudgens and Idell Hudgens.He was a retired Owner/Operator of Ken's Heating and Air and also worked as a meat cutter for A & P Stores.Mr. Hudgens was a member of Mountain Park Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Nan Skelton Hudgens; two daughters: Kim Hudgens-Abrams and her husband Doug, of Snellville, and Tara Hudgens of Atlanta; two sisters: Catherine Cleveland of Augusta, GA and Edna Watson of Columbia, SC; and two grandchildren: Nick Abrams and Sterling Abrams.He was preceded in death by his parents; and one brother, Mac Hudgens.
Graveside Services will be held Friday, January 13, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Nancy Hart Memorial Park with Rev. Betty McKenzie officiating.
The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell where the family will receive friends from 12:00-1:30 p.m. Friday.The family is at their respective homes.
