Obituary
Mrs. Chun U. Kim Lash, 59, of Water Oak Dell Drive, Lavonia, passed away Wednesday, July 5, 2017 at Piedmont Athens Regional Medical Center.
Born on April 5, 1958 in Seoul, South Korea, she was the daughter of the late Sang S. Kim and Chun C. Pak Kim.Mrs. Lash was a seamstress with both Bellcraft and Hartwell Company.She also was a homemaker and of the Christian faith.
Survivors include her husband: Kenneth E. Lash Jr.; one son: Kenny Lash of Lavonia; one daughter: Crystal Lash of Toccoa; and several brothers and sisters also survive.
A memorial service celebrating Kim's life will held on Saturday, July 8, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell with Rev. Joshua Cash officiating.
The family will receive friends Saturday morning from 10:00 to 12:00 p.m. at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell prior to the service.The family is at the home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the National Kidney Foundation of GA, 270 Peachtree Street, Suite 1040, Atlanta, GA 30303.
The Strickland Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Hartwell is in charge of all arrangements.
