Mrs. Kimberly Lou Alewine Vickery, 50, of 70 Lyle Lane South, Lavonia, peacefully passed away, November 5, 2013 at her home.

Born on March 16, 1963 in Hartwell GA, she is the daughter of Wade Alewine and the late Betty Lou Carruth Terrell.She was a former store manager for the Sunshine Travel Center and a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Ricky Vickery; a daughter, Wendy Dove and her husband Chad of Lavonia; two brothers: Taney Alewine and Timothy "Butch" Alewine, both of Hartwell; two half-brothers: Jonathan Alewine and Wade Alewine of Hartwell; one half-sister, Renae Ramey of Hartwell; and two grandchildren: Michael and Mason Dove.Mrs. Vickery was preceded in death by her mother, Betty Lou Carruth Terrell; and a daughter, Valerie E. Vickery.

Funeral services will be Friday, November 8, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at the Tabernacle Baptist Church with Rev. Randall Starrett, Rev. David Vickery and Rev. Johnny Stowe officiating.Burial will be in the Tabernacle Baptist Church Cemetery.

The body is at Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell, where the family will receive friends Thursday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. The family is at the home.
