Miss Kitty Renee Rowland, 54, of Royston, went peacefully to join her family in Heaven on Sunday, August 21, 2022.

She was born on March 21, 1968 in Royston, GA, and she was the daughter of the late Harold Rowland and Dollie Woods Rowland. Miss Rowland worked at Royston Rentals and Sales until she was diagnosed with cancer in 2020. She loved everybody with all her heart, especially the children. They brought her the most happiness.

She is survived by her daughter and her wife, Brandy & Von Stanley; grandsons, Trey, Eli, and Grayson Fowler, all of Royston; son-in-law who was more like her son, Bobby (Jonathan) Fowler of Royston; siblings, Marshall (Becky) Rowland of Canon, Rhonda York of Hartwell, and Lynn Rowland Carey of Royston. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews: Lisa (Roger) Wallace, Matthew and Zack Carey, Lyndsey (Aubrey) Fleeman, Josie and Joleah (James) York, Maylee Rowland, Americus Fowler, Landon and Matt Carey, Wesley and Jaxton Fleeman, Mesiah Stowers, Bryleigh and Bentley Fleming, Kayanna, Addalyn, and Ella Couch, and her chosen son, Chris Couch; and daughter-in-law, Lisa Kennedy. She is also survived by her second family, Mike Martin, Lacie Eason, Brandon, Bentleigh, everyone at Royston Rentals, and many, many friends.

Miss Rowland was preceded in death by her parents; grandparents, John & Hazel Rowland, and Clifton & Mattie Woods; son, Adam Rowland; siblings, Rita and Wesley Rowland; brother-in-law, Ronnie Carey; nephew, Byron Fleeman; and her best friend, Karen (K.K.) Martin.

The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell.  Other times the family will be at the home of Bobby Fowler, 1189 Dovetown Rd, Royston, GA.

Funeral services for Miss Kitty Rowland will be held Thursday, August 25, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at the Tabernacle Baptist Church with Rev. Randall Starrett and Dusty Carey officiating.  Burial will be in the Crossroads Baptist Church Cemetery.

The Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell is in charge of all arrangements.
