Krysti Manley Westbrook, age 55, of Lavonia, passed away Wednesday, July 5, 2023 at AnMed Health.

She was born, February 9, 1968, in Hart County, daughter of Joan Taylor Manley and the late Freddie Joe Manley. She was a 1986 graduate of Franklin County High School. Krysti worked in in-home childcare for many years, before founding Happy Dayz Childcare & Learning Center in Lavonia.  She was a selfless person, that enjoyed making other people happy and putting the need of others before her own. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren. Krysti was a member of the Lavonia Church of God.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband: Richard Westbrook; sons & daughters-in-law: Kyle & Melanie Westbrook and Seth & Ashley Westbrook; grandchildren: Max, Slate, and Abe Westbrook and Skylar & Kayden Westbrook; sisters & brothers-in-law: Beth & Bruce Taylor and Leah & Nathan Skelton; brother: Troy Taylor; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, July 10, 2023 at the Lavonia Church of God with Rev. Adam Tripp officiating. Burial will follow in the Lavonia City – Burgess Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Junior Diabetes Research Foundation (www.jdrf.org) or the Lavonia Church of God (www.lavoniachurchofgod.com).
