Mrs. Kymberly Joy Ankerich, 53, of 728 Nancy Drive, Hartwell, died Monday, March 11, 2013 at her home.
Born on September 15, 1959 in Elberton, GA, she was the daughter of Linda Tucker and Larry Ankerich.She was a member of Cross Roads Baptist Church.

Survivors include her two sons: Clint Carter and his wife Kimberly of Hartwell, Curt Carter and his wife Lucy of Hartwell; five brothers: Ted Ankerich and his wife Robin of Athens, Heath Ankerich of Hartwell, Kenny Whitworth and his wife Angela of Jefferson, Chris Whitworth of Hartwell, Al Whitworth and his wife Stephanie of Hartwell; and four grandchildren: Natalie Carter, Bentley Carter, Sara Beth Carter, and Levi Carter.
Mrs. Ankerich's wishes were to be cremated.The family will receive friends and celebrate her life on Thursday, March 14, 2013 from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell.The family is at the home of Curt Carter, 83 Third Street, Hartwell, GA. In lieu of flowers, special memorials may be made to the Heart Haven, NE Georgia Council on Domestic Violence, PO Box 814, Hartwell, GA30643.
