L. Jackson Lyle II, 72, of Hartwell, died Friday, February 13, 2015, at AnMed Health Medical Center in Anderson, South Carolina.

He was born in Athens, Georgia, and raised in Jefferson, Georgia.Jack was preceded in death by his parents Luke and Elma Lyle.After graduating from Jefferson High School, he attended Georgia Military College and the University of Georgia.Jack served in the U.S. Army, then entered banking service.He was an officer of First National Bank of Atlanta, C & S National Bank, president of First National Bank of Tarpon Springs, Florida, and ended his career at Pinnacle Bank in Hartwell.He was a member of Hartwell Kiwanis Club.Survivors include his wife Nancy Warren Lyle, sister-in-law Patty Warren, and her husband Roy Forey.

A celebration of life was held Sunday, February 15, 2015, at First United Methodist Church in Hartwell.Memorials may be made to American Diabetes Association, 223 Peachtree St, Suite 225, Atlanta GA 30303.
