Obituary

Mr. Lamar Graham, age 85, of Royston, passed away Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at his home.
Born February 6, 1933, in Madison County, he was the son of the late Charles and Lilly (Anderson) Graham. He was a veteran of the United States Army. Mr. Graham was an educator and retired from the Richmond County Board of Education. He was of the Christian faith.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers: John Charles Graham and Oscar Graham; and sisters: Mary Graham, Evelyn Cheek, and Bonnie Jean Bryant.
The funeral service with military honors will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, November 30, 2018 at the chapel of Strickland Funeral Home of Lavonia with Rev. Hubert Carter officiating. A private burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00 p.m. until the service.
