Mr. Alvin Lane Vickery, 65, of 244 Whiting Drive, Hartwell, died Saturday, September 3 at Rainey Hospice House, Anderson SC.

Born on August 15, 1946 in Seneca SC, he was the son of the late Conway Vickery and Virginia Smith Vickery.He was a member of the Trinity Praise and Worship Center and a US Army veteran.

Survivors include his wife, Diane Whiting Vickery of the home; a daughter, Amiee Vickery of Walhalla SC; a brother, Bill Vickery of Westminster SC; an aunt, Jewel Swaney of Seneca; an uncle, Ulice Smith of Anderson and two grandchildren, Jonathan and Blake Vickery.
