Larry O'Neal Hall, 80, of Lavonia, passed away peacefully Aug. 11, 2023, at Hartwell Health and Rehab in Hartwell.

Larry was born in the Dovetown community of Royston in 1943.  He was predeceased by his mother, Sally Hall, and brothers, Robert Hall, Clarence Hall and Jerry Hall. He is survived by a sister, Linda Hall.

He married Emily Sewell of Lavonia in 1965 and is lovingly remembered by her after 58 years of marriage.  He was a graduate of Royston High School and volunteered for two tours of duty with the U.S. Navy, serving most of his seven years between Vietnam and Japan.  He worked for more than 30 years as a union pipefitter out of Local 72 in Atlanta.

He is survived by sons, Scott Hall and Charlie Hall; and a daughter-in-law, Lee Hall.  He has three granddaughters, Peyton Hall, Callie Hall and Annabel Hall.

A graveside service will be held Aug. 25 at 4 p.m. at Lavonia City-Burgess Cemetery.
