Obituary

Mr. Larry Truman Holland, 76, of Lavonia, passed away Tuesday, May 4, 2021 at St. Mary's Sacred Heart Hospital, Lavonia.

Born on February 17, 1945 in Royston, GA, he was the son of the late Truman Walker Holland and Flora Shultz Holland.Mr. Holland was a self-employed electrician and plumber, and a member of the Reed Creek Baptist Church. He was also a US Army veteran who served during the Vietnam War.

Survivors include his wife: Louise Smith Daniels of the home; daughter: Crystal Fowler (Bruce) of Townville, SC; two step-daughters: Kim Campbell (Chris) and Linda O'Dell, all of Lavonia; sister: Margaret Martin of Canon; ten grandchildren; and five great grandchildren. Mr. Holland is preceded in death by his parents and brother: Parker Holland.

The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell.Other times the family will be at their respective homes.

Graveside services for Mr. Larry Holland will be held Friday, May 7, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at the Old Toccoa Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Luther Thomason officiating.The Cemetery is located at 122 N. Black Mountain Road, Toccoa.
