Obituary
Mr. James Larry Risner, 70, of Hartwell, passed away Friday, August 13, 2021 at Oak View Nursing Home in Waverly Hall, GA.
Born on November 16, 1950 in Hart County, GA he was the son of the late James Roy Risner and Imogene Sara Holcombe Risner.Mr. Risner was a former member of the New Harmony United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his sister: Barbara Boleman (Perry) of Hartwell; brother: Jimmy Ray Risner (Sandra) of Hartwell; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell.Other times the family will be at their respective homes.
Funeral services for Mr. Larry Risner will be held Sunday, August 15, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home with Mr. Fred Greenway officiating.Burial will be in the Reed Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
The Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell is in charge of all arrangements.
