Mr. Lathoye Rhinehart "Sausage", age 71, of Lavonia, passed away Sunday, April 8, 2018 at St. Mary's Sacred Heart Hospital.
Born December 20, 1946, in Franklin County, he was the son of the late Robert L. and Jessie (Durham) Rhinehart. He graduated from Franklin County High School, Class of 1966. He retired from Franklin Industries as a machinist. Mr. Rhinehart was a member of Lavonia Church of God.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years: Susan (Hill) Rhinehart; sons & daughters-in-law: Randy & Treva Rhinehart and Scott & Michelle Rhinehart; daughter & son-in-law: Debra & Chris Segars; sister: Marlene Roach; sister & brother-in-law: Betty Jo & Darvin Slaton; and grandchildren: Mitchell Rhinehart, Cassie Rhinehart, Tori Rhinehart, and Drake Segars.
The funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at Lavonia Church of God with Rev. Adam Tripp and Rev. Josh Cash officiating. Cremation will follow the service. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. At other hours the family will be at the home.
