Mrs. Laura Annette Mezzara Mariacher, age 88, of Lavonia, died Thursday, February 17, 2011 at Hart Care Center.
Born July 31, 1922 she was the daughter of the late Joseph Mezzara and Antionette (Andershik) Mezzara. She was a homemaker and of the Catholic faith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Joseph Mariacher; son David Lee Mariacher; eight sisters and three brothers.
She is survived by daughters: Bonnie Sopp of Lavonia and Sandra Mariacher of Warner Robbins; three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday, February 20, 2011 at the Lavonia Chapel of Strickland funeral home.Burial will follow in Franklin Memorial Gardens – North. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday from 12:00 p.m. until the service hour.
