Obituary

Mrs. Fannie Laura Hall Parnell, 93, of 57 Woodlake Drive, Hartwell, died Saturday, November 19, 2011 at Hart County Hospital.

Born on May 20, 1918 in Hartwell, GA, she was the daughter of the late Kyle Hall, Sr. and Jessie Madden Hall.She was a homemaker and a member of Reed Creek Baptist Church.

Survivors include two brothers: Bobby Hall and Doug Hall, both of Hartwell; one sister: Margie Banister of Hartwell; six nephews: Eddie Hall, Wayne Banister, Mark Banister, Kevin Bollinger, Christopher Milford, and Zachary Timms; and three nieces: Laura Milford, Patricia Reed, and Debbie Martin.Mrs. Parnell was preceded in death by her parents; two husbands: Fred Brown and James Parnell; four brothers: Kyle Hall, Jr., James Hall, Gene Hall, and Herbert Hall; and one sister: Mary Fowler.

Memorial services will be held Tuesday, November 22, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell with Mr. Wayne Banister officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.The family is at their respective homes.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the American Heart Association, PO Box 409410, Atlanta, GA 30384-9410.
