Ms. Laurie Karen Sentell, 61, of Martin, passed away Monday, January 15, 2018 at her home.
Born February 23, 1956, in Atlanta, GA, she was the daughter of Willie Dee (Lary) Sentell and the late Charles Sentell. She was a member of Bowman Church of God. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a brother: Danny Sentell.
She is survived by her daughter Melissa Hodge; daughter and son-in-law: Robyn & Danny Landrum; son and daughter-in-law: Robert and Jennifer Hodge; sisters: Robin Sentell and Charlene Brooks; brother: Marty Sentell; grandchildren: P. J., Abby, Sam, Lilly, Sara-beth, Lacie, Josiah, Isaac, J. P., Racheal, Esther, Logan, Codie, Tyler, Matthew, Beth, and Ben; and great-grandchildren: Brintley, Rosemary, Tommy, Carrie, Daniel, Aden, Ansley, Dan, and Kassidy.
The funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 19, 2018 at the Lavonia Chapel of Strickland Funeral Home with Pastor Dan Gaines officiating. Cremation will follow the service. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. At other hours the family will be at the home of Danny and Robyn Landrum, 279 Aaron Brown Road, Royston, GA 30662.
