Obituary
Mrs. Lenora Brown Ramsey, 80, of Old 29 Hwy, Hartwell, passed away Wednesday, May 12, 2021 at her home.
Born on July 21, 1940 in Danielsville GA, she was the daughter of the late George Brown and Rosa Mae Seabolt Brown.Mrs. Ramsey was a retired program assistant from University of Georgia 4-H, Hart County Extension office. She was a member of the Milltown Baptist Church
Survivors include one son: Steve Ramsey (Jan) of Elberton GA; two daughters: Renee Teal of McCaysville GA, Gail Ramsey of Royston GA; one brother: Howard Mize of Greenwood SC; one sister: Sara Lou Casper of Athens GA; nine grandchildren and twenty great grandchildren.Mrs. Ramsey was preceded in death by her parents; her husband: Bobby Ray Ramsey; three brothers: Cecil Mize, Malcolm Mize, Alvin Mize; and two sisters: Lillian Blount and Ruth Gordon.
The family will receive friends Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell.Other times the family will be at their respective homes.
Graveside services for Mrs. Lenora Ramsey will be held Saturday, May 15, 2021 at 1:30 p.m. at the Nancy Hart Memorial Park with Rev. Adam Tripp officiating.
Flowers are optional, memorials may be made to the Hart County 4-H, Summer Camp, 200 Arthur Street, Hartwell, Ga 30643.
The Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell is in charge of all arrangements.
