Mr. Fred Leo Teat Jr., 72, of Allen Acres Road, Hartwell, passed away Wednesday, May 2, 2018 at Brown Health & Rehab, Royston.

Born on October 19, 1945 in Hartwell GA, he was the son of the late Fred Leo Teat Sr. and Louise Reynolds Teat.Mr. Teat was a retired Auto Body Repairman for Wicker Body and Paint and of the Baptist Faith.

Survivors include two nieces: Brenda Crowe & Tom of Carnesville and Shelby Stover of Hartwell; several great and great-great nieces & nephews and special friends: Jerry & Jenny Wicker and their family also survive.Mr. Teat was preceded in death by his parents; a sister: Tommie Fay Broome and a niece: Linda Smith.

Funeral services will be held Friday, May 4, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell with Rev. Tommy Cleveland officiating.Burial will be in the Nancy Hart Memorial Park.

The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell, where the family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Friday afternoon.The family will be at their respective homes.
