Mr. Harold Leon Robertson, 78, of North Forest Ave, Hartwell died Wednesday, September 3, 2014 at his home.

Born on April 25, 1936 in Hartwell GA, he was the son of the late Felix Robertson and Clyde Mackey Robertson.He was retired from Springs Industries as an electrician and Walmart.He also was a member of the Abundant Life Baptist Church. He was a US Army veteran serving in the Korean War.

Survivors include his wife: Shirley Gaines Robertson; one son: Terry Robertson and his wife June of Hartwell; one daughter: Phyllis Brown and her husband Kenny of Hartwell; four grandchildren: David Brown, Megan Brown, Zackery Robertson and Kaitlin Robertson; one great grandchild: Jaxson Brown; two brothers: Gerald Robertson of Fayetteville and Jerry Robertson of Hartwell; and one sister: Sylvia Howell of Hartwell also survive. He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers: Neal Robertson, Mike Robertson and Bobby Robertson.

Funeral services will be Saturday, September 6 at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home with Rev. Ken Brewer and Rev. John Mitchell officiating.Burial will be in the Memorial Garden of Prayer.

The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell, where the family will receive friends from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. Saturday prior to the service.The family is at the home.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Abundant Life Baptist Church, P.O. Box 237, Hartwell, GA 30643.
