Obituary
Mr. Leonard Edgar Roukoski, 79, of 219 Pecan Drive, Hartwell, died Thursday, January 27, 2011 at Hartwell Health Care Center.
Born on February 7, 1931 in Hartwell, GA, he was the son of the late Frank Roukoski and Daisy Feltman Roukoski.He was a supervisor at the BASF Company, a U.S. Army Veteran, a member of the Reed Creek Baptist Church where he served as a deacon and on various other church committees, a member of the Nancy Hart Masonic Lodge #690, and a Shriner.
He is survived by his daughter: Teresa R. Crawford and her husband, Alan of Cumming; and two grandchildren: Andrew Crawford and Jeanine Crawford.Mr. Roukoski was preceded in death by his parents; his wife: Margie Suit Roukoski; two brothers: Harold Roukoski and John Roukoski; and one sister: Wilma Sue Beach.
Funeral services will be Saturday, January 29, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell with Rev. Sam Dulaney officiating. Burial will be in the Nancy Hart Memorial Park.
The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell, where the family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 p.m. prior to the service.The family is at the home.Flowers are optional and memorials can be sent to the Reed Creek Baptist Church, 116 Boleman Hill Road, Hartwell, GA 30643.
