Obituary
Mr. Lester Thomas Ferguson, age 76, of 854 J. Warren Road, Cornelia, died Monday November 27, 2006 at his home.
Born May 10, 1930, in Banks County, he was a son of the late Vance and Effie Ferguson. He retired from Fieldale as a sanitation worker. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War.
Survivors include wife: Juanita Ferguson; three sons: Adam Ferguson of Ohio, Neal Ferguson of Baldwin, and Walter Ferguson of South Carolina; a sister: Alice Perdue of Pendergrass; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents, two brothers: Hampton and Robert Ferguson, and a sister: Judy Whitlock.
Memorial services will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 29, 2006 at Christian Freeworship Church with Revs. Mickey Umbehant and Julia Rautenberg officiating. The family will receive friends after service. The family will also receive friends at the home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Christian Freeworship Church, P.O. Box 822, Cornelia, GA 30531.
